How was the series made? how is its progress?
Being a in-progress animation, the series consists of two sections per part, only running two seasons on deviantART made by Shae aka MaskedGamer. Many people have gathered around Shae's inspiration on other successful users' animations, for example, DestructionSeries and LoneAlchemist. Due to that, Shae has gathered up information to start her own series, but was stumped with choosing a title.
With the help of her fellow friends, she had finally chosen Stellis Dreams. Stellis, meaning starlight, suited perfectly for the plot she was following, therefore, adding interest to her series.
Selecting around 30 volunteers for her series, she made a poster (as well as a second version, and a third version) to show the users participating in the series. This gained a lot of attention as well as new users wanting to join, but more and more people requested their characters in her series, in which she had to decline due to the already past submission date (September 2011).

Story Brief/Blurb
Since Nightmare's war lasting many generations on Pop Star and nearby planets, the stability of Pop Star was falling apart and hope was almost lost for the Star Warriors failing to defend Pop Star. Kirby succeeded in defending Pop Star, which sparked hoped and joy in the inhabitants of this peaceful planet.
In the distant land, three unknown beings have reached Dream Land for some reason. Silvia, awakened, helps the stranded puffballs to return home safe and sound with the help of her fellow friends and keeping an eye out for the power-hungry villains whose goal is to be stronger than anything imaginable.
During this time, Silvia discovers her dark side corrupting her true side. Betrayal, trust and honesty falls throughout the series, and is a test of skill for Silvia as she races against the clock to balance good and evil and discover how her past has changed her forever.

Inspirations (mini interview)
Interviewed (more or less asked) by Assassin--Knight, Shae responds,
"During the process of making the Stellis Dreams story, I had several inspired ideas to add to my main story. Some of these ideas were also contributed to Silvia’s backstory, not just the series alone. These stories ideas were from other games and anime. They are as follows:
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Time/Darkness/Sky
Most of the ideas were from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. The atmosphere, music and depth of the story lit up my interests and touched my heart; dramatic, adventurous. Having an adventure-like story was what I wanted. The Planet Paralysis in the story of the game turns out to present itself as a dark, black and white contrasted land, which is what I wanted for when Pop Star starts to die in the story.
The amnesia part of the character was not influenced on any game nor anime, but had to be done because I was wanting to start from the beginning of Silvia’s discovery of herself.
The end was kinda inspired from the ending of the first story of this game, however, if such was to be copied directly, it would be too much of a rip from the story, so I added a secret twist in the end to change things (which can be viewed in the Summary page).
Super Smash Bros Brawl
More so background, atmosphere and bosses in this game. Many bosses you battle are considered to be large in the game, so I wanted a large major boss that would prove to be dominating and to somewhat scary and mysterious. Zephyr was a perfect fit.
The Final Destination arena was a perfect image on another dimension. I figured something like this would be perfect for the setting of the final boss (Nightmare.)
Avatar the last Airbender/The Legend of Korra
This was the idea of yin and yang and the main character Aang/Korra as the avatar. This was ideal for Silvia but again I didn’t want to be direct. The darkness and the light, however was slightly changed. It could be misunderstood as some people consider these elements the first birth elements. I didn’t want Silvia to be as powerful as a god, so I made her as a guardian. The avatar state is similar to Silvia’s dark form although at the time of creating her, I didn’t think about it at the time.
Fairy Tail
Very little was placed into the story that was an idea from Fairy Tail. At the time, I had no area for the groups to rest, work and such. It was an emergency for me to decide or find something. In the meantime I wanted to avoid a futuristic looking base of some sort. The Guild Hall, from the anime was perfect, so I decided a guild in the café would work.
Spyro
The atmosphere, story and music had driven me, especially in the newer games of Spyro (The Legend of Spyro series). Dark Silvia having white eyes were from Spyro’s dark form and from another anime/game.
Kirby (both anime and games)
Kirby was the chosen base for the animation series as they were the easiest to sprite for me back in the beginning. Not only do I like the Kirby series, but there are barely any great animations on the Kirby franchise. So I decided to work on with Kirby. Meta Knight back then was a major favourite and still is today. His white eyes (when unmasked) were also the idea for Silvia’s dark form along with bat wings.
Sailor Moon
Not so much story driven and atmosphere but, I believe when I was making Silvia, the idea of the guardian mark on her forehead was from the main character Serena. Serena had a crescent moon shape on her forehead when transforming. Of course this was one of the shows I watched when I was young, so I believe that I was unaware of the idea at the time of Silvia’s creation. I thought that I made it all up on my own mind when really the idea was from an anime I had seen long ago.
The Last Unicorn
Another animated film that I watched when I was young. Unintentionally, the idea of the star on Silvia’s forehead was also from the main character (in her human form) in that story. However, I never considered in using a five (or more) edged stars since it is overused. I choose the four edged star to make it unique and not a direct copy from an existing anime or game.
Those are the only inspirations I could recall, in both story, Silvia’s history and design wise. I had purposefully made the setting so many years later to prevent backstory clashes with other characters."
